More great people join the Arete team

We have grown our team this month with three great additions.

Senior investment manager Andy Critchley, head of operations and risk Mike Anslow and analyst Joe Cohen have joined the business, each bringing valuable experience and unique talents to our already fantastic team.

Andy has a 20-year career with financial and insurance sector giants including PwC and RSA as well the Development Bank of Wales. In his new role, he’ll be integral to Arete’s deal origination, investment appraisal, structuring, and deal execution.

Mike’s 25-year career has included senior roles with several global brands including HSBC, American Express, MBNA, and British Airways. Before joining us, he held strategic positions within M&S Bank and will be putting his experiences to great use by making sure our deals meet all regulatory requirements.

Meanwhile, Joe joins us with experience in multi-strategy fund management and spent time at Acropolis Capital in London. His remit will be to work with the senior team to identify and analyse new investment opportunities.  

All three will help us to shape the fortunes of the businesses we invest in as well as the investors we work with.
